But first, blueprints

Understandably, clients often want to bypass the why and cut right to the how. Weaver, on the other hand, came to us saying they didn’t want to skip straight to tactics. They were looking for brand consistency and a core message. So we listened hard to their team and their customers and dug into industry research. All this excavation led us to some structural questions.

Wait, who are we building for?

The Weaver brand was working hard to straddle two very different audiences: high-end homeowners and commercial building managers. After some serious thought, we made a big recommendation—that Weaver rebrand based on who they serve, not how they managed projects internally. This meant creating two distinct sister brands (both part of the same parent company) so they could tailor their marketing and ops to these groups.

The new logo needed to jive in visually disparate settings. We modernized the familiar W and chose a timeless typeface that feels appropriately refined for the luxury home market, yet strong enough for commercial construction.

Sister brands, shared foundation

With this new structure in place, we began developing taglines to help Weaver translate their company truth to both their team and their customers. These statements consolidate decades of vision and values into powerful shorthand. They’re foundational ideas to jumpstart future marketing efforts.

Let’s call this part the “open house”

Obviously, a new brand can only work once it’s out in the world. Yet announcing a rebrand when there’s so much history on the line requires intention. We helped Weaver take inventory of every asset they’d need—client mailers, truck decals, an employee guidebook, and more—and coordinated a well-timed plan for updating their team and many patrons.
