Because the design was so well thought out and future-proofed, the visual identity will stay relevant. We are constantly growing into the brand, rather than outgrowing it.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Yes, and we strongly recommend going with a custom theme. Custom themes allow us to control many factors that impact the longevity of your site: overall stability, page-load times, SEO, accessibility, and semantic code. And if issues do come up, we can fix them more easily. While the up-front price of a custom Shopify theme is higher, it’s a better bang for your buck in the long term. Custom sites also allow the most flexibility, helping your brand stand out online.

  • We always recommend user testing. Allowing real people to test-drive your site before we push it live helps us identify issues with navigation, checkout, and other aspects of the site for users who don’t already know it inside and out.

  • In terms of building your custom site, they’re essentially the same thing. Shopify Plus does have a few more tools, like Shopify Flow and Shopify Functions (formerly Scripts), which can be used for more complex discounts and special offers. Our team can set you up with these premium tools no problem.

  • Think of Shopify website pricing like you would consider the cost of building a house. How much square-footage do you need? Can you share a bathroom or do you want your own? Are you happy with builder-grade materials or are you looking for something unique?

Depending on your needs and wants, we’ve built sites for as little as $15,000 and as much as $80,000+. Our team is happy to sit down or hop on a call to personalize a quote for you.

  • We provide basic SEO setup for all websites we build. This includes effective content hierarchy and semantic markup, performance analysis, accessibility, as well as setup to allow content editors to add and edit meta tags, link titles, and alt text.

If a more extensive SEO plan is needed, we’ll coordinate with our go-to SEO partner, Evident, to conduct a thorough audit of SEO opportunities for your site. The audit can include industry and organization keyword research to guide content strategy, site structure recommendations, and potential campaign opportunities. Evident follows the latest search algorithm updates, they’re thorough and strategic, and our teams work well together to balance user experience and search engine performance.

  • Shopify offers it’s own POS system, that can be easily run on just about any device you might have on hand. They also offer various hardware to meet your specific label-printing, barcode-scanning, and package-slipping needs. Your inventory will be easily managed between your brick-and-mortar and online presence, which makes management a breeze. Trust us, we run one.

Shopify also integrates with many third-party POS systems, like Square, Lightspeed, Vend, and QuickBooks.

  • In our opinion, WooCommerce is a good option if your website won’t be used primarily for ecommerce. For example, if you’re working on a site for your band and you just want to sell a few T-shirts, WooCommerce is fine. But if you’re a T-shirt manufacturer who wants to sell a range of designs and color combinations, we’d recommend Shopify.

  • Yes, Shopify makes blog setup and management super simple. Blogs can be helpful for improving your search engine ranking, growing your audience, and building trust with your customers.

  • Yes, and it also integrates with any paid social advertising you might do on Meta (Instagram & Facebook), TikTok, and the like.
