It's Spud Slingin' Season

When we kicked off a rebrand for a big-league potato dealer in its third generation of family ownership, we didn’t know what to expect. Nothing could have prepared us for the quirky lingo, relentless potato puns, or their serious passion for customer care. While moving potatoes from farms to processors may sound simple, the logistics are a cross-continental symphony of varieties, farmers, load sizes, trucks, and urgent deadlines. And it’s all set to the ever-changing rhythms of each year’s unpredictable harvests.

A Better Potato Portfolio

While EK Bare does many things well, we honed in on one: helping processors (like your favorite brand of chips) better understand which potatoes—from which farms—best meet their needs. For EK Bare, it’s all about making each year’s supply better than the last.

Field Trip Time

The fresh branding needed some fresh photo and video to go with it. So we pulled on our boots and headed out to several farms in Lancaster County to capture EK Bare’s partner growers in action.

A New Site to Show it All Off

We designed and built a new custom site to help EK Bare build trust with new partners and clients. It’s where all the values EK Bare offers—from their reach and connections to their transparency and technology—come to life.

We also helped EK Bare launch a new product line under the name Bird-in-Hand Potato Company. EK Bare’s first venture into branded products, Bird-in-Hand bagged potatoes are intended for customers who need great bulk potatoes, but not a whole truck full.

We enjoyed working with Infantree and their team for our rebrand and website project. Their process from concept to final product was fun to participate in. We are excited to leverage our new brand and website for the future growth of our business!
