Lancaster Farmland Trust

“If we don’t preserve this land, we’ll be just like everywhere else.”

Lancaster Farmland Trust has a lot to accomplish and not a lot of time. Across Lancaster County, about 300,000 acres of farmland are under threat of being turned into warehouses and strip malls.
Founded in 1988, Lancaster Farmland Trust used to be a household name and media darling. Over the last decade, however, brand awareness has dropped and loyal donors have gotten older.
The organization needed to connect with a new generation—to attract support from folks who may not have grown up on a farm, or even in Lancaster County.

Saving farmland
saves more than farmland

Rather than playing on fears or pointing fingers, we focused on how saving farmland benefits everyone in our county.

While we didn’t change the logo, we overhauled everything else about the brand’s visual language and messaging to help LFT launch a fresh awareness campaign.

“Infantree was essential in helping our team nail down messaging that connects our work with the broader community.”

Mikaela Bender

Communication Manager

We worked with photographer Gabe McMullen to remind Lancastrians that our markets, restaurants, and other local faves depend on local farms.

The new website combines the usual Infantree features—a custom WordPress theme, CMS integration, editor-friendly blocks—with a cohesive campaign feel.

“Working with Infantree made this overwhelming process digestible and helped us reach more of Lancaster County with our mission in meaningful ways.”
