Copywriter

Does the phrase “innovative solutions” make you wince? Is your notes app stuffed with brilliant one-liners and profoundly dumb business names? Have you ever ordered a pen from Japan?

Oh, and you’re looking for a new job? Glad you found us. We’re Infantree, a branding agency in Lancaster, PA. 

We’re seeking a copywriter who’s flexible enough to write for a brewery in the morning and a cybersecurity firm in the afternoon. Someone who cares about words and believes the right ones can elevate any brand. You’ll need to be ready to collaborate, too—with coworkers and clients alike.We think the best fit for this role will have 3–4 years of copywriting experience. But we’re most interested in talent and fit.

What you’ll do

  • Work with a range of B2B, B2C, and nonprofit clients
  • Write it all: manifestos, packaging, taglines, headlines, websites, social posts, etc.
  • Be a key part of brand and product naming
  • Do your own research to understand the client, their industry, and their customer
  • Partner with our strategy, design, and web teams

Qualifications

  • Ability to write things that people enjoy reading
  • A big imagination that plays well with others
  • Solid communication and presentation skills
  • Calm in the face of looming deadlines
  • A strong understanding of grammar, punctuation, and the mechanics of writing
  • Ability to work in-office at least three days per week
  • 3–4 years copywriting experience—unless you convince us otherwise
  • A degree in creative writing, journalism, or English is a plus, but not strictly required
